Waddesdon Manor is a country house in Buckinghamshire, England, built in the late 19th century by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild as a spectacular retreat to house his art collection. It is designed in the style of a French Renaissance château and now managed by the National Trust, which has a large collection of 18th-century English portraits, French furniture, and Sèvres ceramics. |
